Meet Our Leaders
TJ Paradise
owner
Born and raised in the Pittsburgh area, TJ received degrees in both chemistry and economics from the University of Pittsburgh. His early career primarily focused on QA/QC testing, engineering, and operations management. After several years working at manufacturing facilities in Butler and Washington counties, he attended the Joseph M Katz Graduate School of Business via an alumni fellowship. After earning his MBA, TJ began a career in corporate finance at IBM in New York. He spent seven years at IBM before moving home to Pittsburgh and taking subsequent financial leadership roles with Thermo Fisher Scientific, Valspar, Sherwin Williams, and Ferro Corp. He continues to volunteer and teach at the University of Pittsburgh.
When he is not working, TJ enjoys volunteering in community activities, art, woodworking and baking. An avid basketball fan, he stubbornly continues watching and playing the game with the fleeting hope that his NBA dreams have not passed him by.
ali Conomos Paradise
Owner
Ali was born and raised in the south hills of Pittsburgh. She attended Tufts University and Katz Graduate School of Business where she earned her MBA and met TJ. A former English teacher and the daughter of the CEO of a 3rd generation family business, Ali is a full-time mom and handles A Plus Repair PGH’s human resources and marketing. When she is not working, Ali enjoys arranging flowers, gardening, photography, cooking, watching NFL games and listening to audio books. Since she’s the majority owner of A Plus, Ali wants you to know that she is TJ’s boss.
